NEW:
Listen to our UN Day of Disabled Persons special, located at the bottom of this page.
Original air date: December 3, 2007, brought to you in part by TD Bank.
Last year hundreds of Canadians signed a declaration that called for a more accessible and inclusive Canada. Hundreds more gathered at Ottawa to attend End Exclusion, an event held to celebrate the accomplishments of Canadians with disabilities and to begin discussion on just how a more inclusive society could be achieved.
VoicePrint was proud to be one of the many organizations supporting the declaration, and this year we will build on our partnership with the Council of Canadians With Disabilities, Canadian Association of Community Living and Canadian Association of Independent Living Centres by participating in End Exclusion 2007, which aims to create a National Action Plan for a more inclusive and accessible Canada.
A draft framework for the Action Plan is posted on the End Exclusion website. An audio version of this draft framework is also available.
Please check this web page for more details.

VoicePrint would like to take this
opportunity to thank the Association for the Education and Rehabilitation of
the Blind and Visually Impaired (AER) for its recent donation to our
organization. The donation was made in lieu of speaker appreciation gifts at
the AER "F Y EYE” Conference and Annual General Meeting. All of the
speakers were pleased and felt this was a really great idea!
Thanks again AER, from your Friends at VoicePrint!
In continuing support of an inclusive society, we honour the accomplishments of Canadians with disabilities and pay tribute to them.
