Earth Day 2009

VoicePrint salutes Earth Day around the globe

Since Earth Day was first observed in the spring of 1970, the issues within the environmental movement have gone beyond reducing, reusing and recycling, and evolved into climate change and global warming.

Is climate change real? In the past few years, the debate on climate change and global warming has come down to whether the planet is in any peril. What are the facts?

Tune in at 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday April 22nd when VoicePrint presents an interview with Danny Harvey, Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Toronto. What is the future of Spaceship Planet Earth? Is global warming real or is the environment simply going through a change in weather patterns?

Listen in to hear what the latest scientific research indicates.

This special programming is brought to you in part by The Ontario Environment Network.
