This Saturday is International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination and VoicePrint is paying tribute with an in-depth interview on the origins of racism and the destructive nature of negative stereotyping.

Listen in when Michael Inzlicht, Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, discusses the psychological aspects of racial discrimination. He elaborates on the challenges of combating racism during economic downturns and the steps government can take to promote tolerance.
March 21st is recognized by the United Nations as the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Studies and reports of the UN had highlighted racial discrimination as a world-wide issue and, to specifically address this issue, in 1963 the UN adopted the UN Declaration on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
