In 1987, Rick Hansen's Man in Motion Tour brought issues of ability and access into the national spotlight. In response, National Access Awareness Week (NAAW) was born.

For this year's edition, taking place from May 27 to June 2, VoicePrint will air special programming, kick-start a contest giveaway and partake in NAAW events dedicated to celebrating the inclusion of all Canadians through acceptance, technology, legislative change and other things.

Contest: Win a Victor Reader DAISY Player

Listen to the winner!

Tune in to VoicePrint on Sunday, May 27 to hear how you can win a Victor Reader DAISY Player as part of our celebration of National Access Awareness Week.
National Access Awareness Week celebrates the technical advances that have enriched the lives of people with disabilities. Since 1990 VoicePrint has been breaking the information barrier for people who cannot independently access printed information such as newspapers and magazine. VoicePrint’s valuable service is just one of many examples of “liberation technologies.” Another example is the Victor Reader DAISY Player.

And by listening to VoicePrint on Sunday, May 27 you can find out to how to win one. But don’t just listen to VoicePrint on that Sunday, tune in throughout the week to hear informative and enlightening programs on the technological revolution that is tearing down barriers for people with disabilities.
